I gathered the stationery together that I had saved after the wedding, and I chose a background paper from the Jewel Power Palette (my favorite!) to go with the blue wedding theme. When I finally sat down to go through the wedding photos and make some choices, I discovered that the pictures of myself and Scott were not all that great, and what I really wanted to highlight was the bridal party, in which Scott was included as a groomsman! The wedding party photos were fantastic, and you couldn't even tell that they had all been dripping in the 100 degree heat in Palo Alto that day.
I double-matted the photo, tucked in our placecards and added the Save The Date card, and realized that I didn't need anything more than that! The beauty of the background paper coupled with the fabulous photo were enough to make me happy. DONE!
Overwhelmed by a page layout or album project? Sometimes less is more!

That looks great! I always have trouble "wasting" the 12x12 space, but then end up covering up the pretty paper which is a terrible shame. This gives me new inspiration.
