This summer I took advantage of my time off of work (being a teacher has that one indisputable perk in the summer) and scheduled some workshops for my customers and friends. I'm calling them "Summer Socials," and each one has a theme. In June, I had some peeps over for ice cream sundaes while we worked on our albums. Because really, what compliments scrapbooking better than ice cream?
The second in the series of Summer Socials is coming up this Saturday! We're having a Margarita Crop & Shop at my house- we'll have Mexican 7-Layer Dip and Margaritas (of the original and strawberry varieties), and we'll enjoy 4 hours of scrapbooking! Because really, what compliments scrapbooking better than a Margarita? Oh, wait...
This is an open event- there is a $10 fee that is waived if you place an order of $25 or more at the workshop. Contact me to sign up! There are still a few seats left!
If I'm ever down in your area when you throw one of these I'd love to join in. Can't say I know anything about scrapbooking, but ice cream I can do, and I'm sure there would be lots of fun stuff to play with and practice.
