Scrapbook Room: New and Improved

When I first began scrapbooking, I bought one of those nifty rolling totes to store and transport my supplies. I'm all about the organization, so naturally, I was very proud of myself. :)

After becoming a Creative Memories Consultant in September, I aquired a few small bookshelves on which to store my CM supplies, as well as my own personal supplies. As my business has grown, so has my stock! I quickly grew out of my small bookcases, so I turned to Ikea for help.

I now present to you.... the EXPEDIT system!

This 4x4 shelf holds all of my CM supplies, as well as sample projects and catalogs....


Each cube is 13" in height, which means that my CM 12x12 albums and pages fit perfectly. It was made perfectly for scrapbookers, and the good people of Ikea didn't even know it....



A set of two drawers can be purchased separately. These are perfect for my small tools, like my corner rounders, pens, smaller punches, and tape runners.....


I have some baskets from Target that I hide my non-products in, like my giveaway items, business cards, and small displays for workshops.....


I keep my photo storage boxes and album gift boxes on top, along with Princess Bear (because really, a room can always use a purple touch)......


I also display sample projects on top, like these items I created with CM supplies for a local wedding show.....


And the cards I've made at my Christmas Card and Valentine's Card Workshops.....


On the opposite wall, I have my Creative Memories banner (made from CM Blush Blooms paper) and my favorite roses, straight from Ikea!


I do have a table in this room, but I'll level with you: I usually do my scrapbooking in the dining room, so I can have the TV on at the same time! So while this is my storage area, it's admittedly not where I work.
