Recap: National Scrapbook Day

National Scrapbook Day was on Saturday, and I was VERY excited for this year's event. Creative Memories has been celebrating National Scrapbook Day for 16 years, so this year's theme was "Sweet 16." I had a blast coming up with ways to incorporate a Sweet 16 Birthday theme, since themed workshops are one of my very favorite parts of this job.

First, I got the house set up for my 10 guests....

...including the sun room in the back of our new house, which is now the "workshop!"

I put the newest products on display, including this adorable album...

...and some new paper and stickers that are eye-catching and fun!

I tied in some birthday treats, like cupcakes and gifts at each seat....

...and the guests began to arrive and got to work!

We cropped all day, stopping for lunch (in the backyard on a beautiful day) and pausing throughout the day for some training and demonstrations by yours truly.

We had a great time, and I can't wait to hold more workshops in the new house!
