Answer: A lot of drinking, a little gossip, and a lot of FUN.
I hosted a Creative Memories Teachers' Get-Together on Friday night, and we had a blast! As you can see, we were still in our school t-shirts (I wore last year's shirt... what a fashion faux pas) and we were looking a little ragged. Such is the end of a long week.
After drinking peach bellinis and noshing on Trader Joe's appetizers, we got down to business as I introduced all the latest Creative Memories products. The ladies had so much fun, they scheduled a workshop with me in two weeks! Two of them weren't even scrapbookers, but attended just for the social event. By the time we were done, they had each bought the Digital Kit to make some digital books as Christmas gifts.
I'm having so much fun with this Creative Memories stuff, although I have to admit that I was pretty nervous about it in the beginning. But now that people are seeing how much fun it can be (and that it's not JUST for scrapbookers), it is really taking off! Woo-hoooo!!

ReplyDeleteWill do, Karen! I just need someone to host in SF, since I haven't had any get-togethers up there yet. But it should probably be someone who DOESN'T have a six-week-old baby at home. :) I'll let you know if I have one!
