Summer Social Workshop: Margaritas, Crop & Shop

The date is set for the second of three Summer Social events! On Saturday, July 11th, we'll have an afternoon crop & shop at my cousin's place, starting at 1:00pm and ending at 5:00(ish). We'll be serving Margaritas and snacks, and there will be a table of new products to shop from, so bring your albums to work on and join us!

There is an Evite for this event- to be added to the Evite, please email me at Marianne241@gmail.com. This workshop will have a fee of $10, but make a purchase of $25 or more on that day, and your fee is waived!

Welcome to Purple Passion, my newest blog that will be all about scrapbooking! As a Creative Memories Consultant and avid scrapbooker of the last 8 years, I am always looking for people to talk shop with! This blog will feature a number of different types of posts, including some regular features:

IKEA + Awesome Husband = Scrap Happiness

You have to spend money to make money, right? Well, today I spent money at one of my most favoritest stores! I take that back... The Husband spent the money for me, but he followed very good instructions while there.

Let me start over.

My Nest/scrapbooking friend, Noaillese, has an awesome workspace for her crafts. When she told me that her bookcase (I call it a grid, because of its fantastic geometric perfection) came from Ikea for less than $200, I decided that I must have one.

Now that I'm at home for the summer and planning on doing quite a bit of scrapbooking of my own (as well as a good number of CM workshops), I decided to put my recent earnings to good use and invest! I was going to head to Ikea with The Husband this morning, but he chose to go on his own (something about me always losing focus and buying hundreds of dollars worth of votive holders and picture frames and ceramic pots and kitchen utensils and doormats... not sure what he was talking about, really...). Anyway, he ended up going alone.

And came back with......

This.

Doesn't look like much, you say? Oh, just you wait. Just. You. Wait.

Summer Social: June

Come to my house for the first of three Summer Social events! On Saturday, June 20th, we'll have an afternoon crop, starting at 1:00pm and ending at 5:00(ish). We'll take a break for ice cream sundaes, so bring your appetite!

Please RSVP by June 18th so I can provide ice cream for all. This workshop will have a fee of $10, but place an order on that day for $25 or more, and your fee is waived!

Enjoy a change of venue for our crop, this time with Margaritas and some Mexican flavor! This workshop will also have a $10 fee, which will be waived with an order of $25 at the event.

Come over for some All-American summer treats and bring your finished albums from the past year to show off! This event is FREE!

June Workshop: Make It For Dad!

I'll be holding my Father's Day workshop with the "Make It For Dad" Featured Project on Friday, June 5th. The Mother's Day Workshop was fun and successful, with most customers finishing their entire album in one sitting! We'll start at 6:00pm- I'll have snacks to share, but you may want to eat dinner before you arrive so you can get your project started and finished in one night! The fee for this workshop is $25, and includes the Limited Edition All-Star Paper Album Kit (shown above), Expressions of Him Vellum Accents and a tape runner. The total product value is $31, but your price is $25. All you need to bring is approximately 12 photos to add! This workshop will be held during my monthly Crop 'Til You Drop, so as usual, you are welcome to just bring your current scrapbooking project and spend the evening with us. There is no fee if you just come to crop! Please RSVP by Thursday, May 28th so I can order enough supplies for all!
